On April 13th,the 5th Yangtze River Delta Legal Professional Ability Interview Competition ended in East China University of Political Science and Law. Hou Xingyou, a law student of our school, won the third prize in the competition.
The contest was organized by the Shanghai Lawyers Association Young Lawyers Working Committee, Shanghai Lawyers Association Yangtze River Delta Lawyers Integration Promotion Committee and the Communist Youth League East China University of Political Science and Law Committee, lasting more than a month, nearly 250 law students from 30 universities in the Yangtze River Delta, such as Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and East China University of Political Science and Law participated. The competition has been supported by more than 30 law firms and more than 50 industry elites, and has received continuous attention from major news media, and has strong social influence.
Hou Xingyou, a student from our law school, conducted a precise and profound legal analysis of the legal problems encountered by the company under the simulated scenario in the company's legal affairs track, which was recognized by the judges. In the stress test, in response to the questions raised by the judges, he responded calmly, with clear thinking and frequent golden sentences, which fully demonstrated the confident style of our students.
This award was an active attempt by the Law School to lead students to participate in high-level competitions in the Yangtze River Delta, which further demonstrates the students' personal legal literacy and professional ability, and reflected the school's practice-oriented education concept.
