From December 9 to 10, the 5th Anhui College Students Moot Court Competition, sponsored by Anhui Provincial Department of Education and hosted by Anhui University Law School, was held in Hefei. Associate Professor Huang Baoxuan and Dr. Jin Riqin served as instructors. The team consisting of 8 students, including Liu Simin and Han Xue, won the second prize. Han Xue won the second prize and Xu Yuxin won the third prize.
The Moot Court Competition is an important measure to deepen the reform of law education in colleges and universities in Anhui Province, comprehensively improve students' comprehensive application of legal knowledge, theory and legal methodology, and cultivate outstanding legal talents with social responsibility, innovative spirit and practical ability, which is highly valued by the provincial Department of Education and universities. A total of 21 colleges and universities with undergraduate law majors in the province participated in the competition, and the judges were people's courts, people's procuratorates, and practical experts in the legal field. Through this competition, the teaching level of law major and the comprehensive ability of law major students have been further tested.
