From December 8 to 10, 2010, the 16th WTO Law and China Forum and the 2023 WTO Law Academic Annual Conference was held in Sanya, Hainan. The conference was sponsored by the World Trade Organization Law Study Society of China Law Society and Hainan Province Law Society, and was hosted by Sanya International Commercial Mediation Center.
The theme of the annual meeting is Fully Participating in the Reform of the World Trade Organization and Steadily Advancing a High Level of Opening-up, with a number of agenda items including invited reports, keynote reports, thematic sub-forums and side meetings. More than 300 experts and scholars from the World Trade Organization, China's Permanent Mission to the WTO and more than 100 domestic universities, research institutes and practical departments attended the meeting.
Associate Professor Liu Yu of our College was invited to attend the forum and gave a keynote speech in the fourth sub-forum WTO Compliance and Relief and Breakthrough of China's Advanced Industries, and had extensive and in-depth academic exchanges with the experts and scholars attending the forum.
