On January 15 solstice 20, 2020, the international academic conference on e-economy and Law, sponsored by the association of e-commerce in lower Saxony and organized by Osnabruck University, was held in Osnabruck. Academics from Gottingen University in Germany; Koln University in Munich; Hannover University in Hannover;Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium; Leiden University in the Netherlands; The University of Krakow in Poland Cracow, University of Aix-Marseille, Beijing Technology and Business University, Anhui University of Finance and Economics and other European and Asian academics held extensive and in-depth discussions on topics regarding E economy and data security, personal information protection, financial law, competition law, judicial justice, and trends in German and European legislation.
Professor Jiang Huiyu from our school attended the conference, and delivered a keynote speech on financial law forum titled The Development and Supervising The Problems of The Third Party Payment in China , in which he presented to the European scholars attending the conference commercial achievements of our country in the field of third-party Payment in recent years , and analyzed the legal regulation of our country in the field of third-party payment . His speech raised the interest of European scholars in China's electronic payment industry and their attention and discussion on relevant legal issues.
Apart from the formal academic conference, Professor Jiang Huiyu was invited to give a lecture entitled Business Types and Business Expanding of China 's Third - party payment Institutionsfor the electronic commerce association staff of German state of lower Saxony and the Business people from osnabruck city.The lecture got recognition and compliment of German Business circle.
Being authorized by and on behalf of the law school of the University, Professor Jiang signed respectively with Hans Schulte-Nölke, director of law school of Osnabruck University the Letter of Intent Concerning the Cooperation Agreement , and with Professor Georg Gesk, director of The Center for International Studies of Chinese Law and Economy (CIRCLE) of above-mentioned Osnabruck University,the Agreement of Cooperation and Exchange between the two institutions. In addition, he awarded Professor Georg Gesk with the employment letter of adjunct professor of our college. The signing of the above protocols and agreements will play a strong role in strengthening and promoting cooperation between our Law School and Osnabruck in terms of exchanges of faculty and student visits, academic research ,etc.
